So, despite knowing that Sherlock is supposed to die but come back, I managed to not only be crying profusely for the last ten minutes of the episode, but also be genuinely surprised to see him reappear at the end.

Now that's some great writing and acting. Thank you Stephen Thompson (the guy who wrote the episode), Benedict Cumberbatch, and Martin Freeman. Also, Andrew Scott is amazing!
