I've always loved the poem about Aragorn, ever since I read it in Fellowship of the Ring when Boromir recounts hearing it from someone (I forgot who). I love how it's prophetic, and how it describes Aragorn and his personality, his destiny.

These pictures are perfect. You can see all the strength and power that he has, and yet there is so much fear in his eyes when he becomes king. Fear of failure, of weakness, of not living up to expectations. It just solidifies how necessary it was for him to take on that role, to return to his homeland and accept his heritage. Especially when you contrast it with Denethor's power hungry psychosis.

I couldn't get the timing of the gif just right, but this makes it no less epic. I love Viggo Mortensen, his acting, his photography, his poetry, his face. I would legitimately marry this man if I had the chance, age difference and parents be damned. 

Like a G

This scene is one of my favourites in the movie. Every time I watch Two Towers, I will stop and replay it five times and go "Guys! Guys! Look look, look how awesome he is! Shhh! Watch. *sigh* He's fantastic, especially with that kingly swagger." Just that epic door opening, and then the part right after when he puts his hand on his sword's hilt and like pauses. That's an entrance right there.

Older Men that are acceptable to date

This just made my day. Mostly because of the addition of Ten and Aragorn, because I assumed Angel and Spike would be on it (cause, come on, who wouldn't?) though I am a bit surprised that Lestat (either circa Tom Cruise or Stuart Townsend) wasn't added to this mix. I'm pretty sure there are like a few hundred more older men that should/can be put on this list.

Aragorn the sadist

Again, it's one of those situations where I'm really not surprised at the behaviour of the cast/fellowship towards each other. I can totally see Viggo Mortensen just giggling as he chucked apples at Billy Boyd take after take.

I've been ready for the zombies apocalypse since I was eight and watched my older brother play Resident Evil on his Playstation. I'd also probably be more bad ass and fantastic at zombie killing than half the boys out there who think they're all that.
