Wolverine goes to Hogwarts

Now I just want someone to write/create an X-Men/Harry Potter crossover. Many people would watch or read that, if only to see wot the hell is going on, so no one has to worry about how to generate profit. I only have limited experience in marketing (five classes, 2.5 hours each), but I'd be happy to draw up a possible marketing plan, starting with, naturally, me meeting Hugh Jackman in person. That would work, right?

Spent the past [insert number of hours] reading about marketing management and I'm not sure that I retained anything, at all. On the bright side, it's not like our professor puts us on the spot or anything /dies.

At this point, by the time you read this, I'll be either dying in class or in the process of dying in class. So wish me luck. I had a moment of panic in my yesterday's class where I realized how much responsibility I would have to have/need to have in order to be able to make a living. Then I remembered I did not really have that much time to get everything in order in my mind, because I'm not 21 as I keep thinking (almost every day), but 22, on the way to 23. I'm so close to being on the wrong side of 20.

Woe is me.

Dreams of Mutants

I had a dream where I was playing cards with Remy LeBeau (or Gambit if you prefer), and I realized quite quickly that he was cheating. Unfortunately, it's hard to argue with someone who can manipulate kinetic energy, throw cards like a beast, and is inhumanly charming, so I kicked his ass the old fashioned way, by being fantastic at wotever game we happened to be playing (it was either poker, or Go Fish, same difference). Also, it helped that Rambo showed up, and since we all know me and Rambo are bffls, my lovely Cajun mutant decided to play it straight.

Not a very action packed dream, true, but that was actually preferably in my opinion, considering I tend to wake up more tired than I went to sleep these days. So sitting around playing cards with my favourite X-Men was not a bad deal.

I seem to be having a lot of dreams with Rambo these days, though I'm not quite certain why. I haven't seen those movies in at least a million years and it's not like I have any deep affection for Stallone. Though, I suppose, it's a nice change from Doctor Who. Not that I mind that it has taken over every corner of my conscious thought, it's just nice to know that when I'm unconscious, I am capable of expanding my mind beyond a fictional sci-fi show, as fantastic as it may be.

I figured since I enjoy looking at awesome/attractive people, why not post some more! So I present to you our favourite child doctor/womanizer and one of our favourite Aussie's/mutants.

Speaking of Wolverine, anyone else watch X-Men: First class? Because in my opinion that was a really well done movie. I say this as a childhood fan of X-Men. True, they might not have been the original first class, but they still did quite well. My favourite part was the cameo from Wolverine. It might be because I'm easily amused...but I was quite amused.

As someone who is armed and ready for the zombie apocalypse but is still planning on retaining the humour in her life, this movie was like crack cocaine (because we all know that crack is a poor man's drug, and this movie is way above a poor man's anything).

Emma Frost is a fictional character. She's badass (thought not nearly as badass as Jean Grey), and got with Cyclops, but badassery, unfortunately, does not make characters come to life. If wishes were horses though...

A Wild Blogger Appeared!

So, I might actually be in love with the new Pokémon game. I know I hated on it not long ago, but it's just so much fun to play and the Pokémon you get are amazing and fun, and then you can also catch pokémon from the previous generations (my lovely friend who beat the game already me gave me a Togepi). I've also found out that nicknaming Pokémon after favourite characters from Doctor Who and Harry Potter and Buffy who remind me of them is a lot of fun.
          In my party I have a Dr. Whobat (a Swoobat), McGonagall (Liepard), Bambi (Deerling), Abu (Pansear), Teninch (Dewott....after David Tennant's wonderful nickname), Asfaloth (Zebstrika). That clearly does not include the other Pokémon I've captured, but they're my favourites so far. I mean, I've only beaten the fifth gym leader but still, I've grown fond of my party, we're like a family.

I've got to stop. Spring break was fantastic (thank you crew at Norwegian Jewel, Silas, if you ever see this, I love you and you're amazing).

I GOT TO GO TO HARRY POTTER WORLD! Touring of Hogwarts because the line was horrendous and we had to make it back to the dock before the ship sailed away without us (although, I probably would not have minded living at Hogwarts for a little bit) but Butterbeer is absolutely delicious and Honeydukes and Zonkos were great and I got myself a wand and I realize that I'm rambling and I sound like I'm five but there was also a comic book store that I could not tear myself away from and the Spiderman ride was also so cool. I've decided to actually try and get Uncanny X-Men #266 likes I've been meaning to for the past 3 years,because Gambit has always been my favourite and it's about time I got the edition with his first full appearance.

          It was a great get away and extremely relaxing (though the Mount Everest sized knots in my shoulders would make people believe otherwise) but I'm glad to be back home.

Going back to school tomorrow is a different story.
