David Tennant's face of the day
I miss that face, and him saying 'brilliant.' They really need to have one of those words for Eleven, because I feel sad that I can't automatically trigger his voice and face based on a singular word...maybe 'amazing?' I don't know, I was very averse to 'geronimo' and it's not like you can use it in multiple situations that don't involve diving into or out of something.
Back in Black
Hello my lovelies!
Sorry for being all M.I.A. the past few days, with my birthday and travelling (just got in to Madrid an hour ago, and it's 8 am) and such it was difficult to keep updating. I also don't think it helps that this desktop, apparently, as a parental control thing on it that isn't allowing me to actually view my pages. It's wot my little brother gets for using Internt Explorer...I mean, who even does that these days? Also, who password protects everything to the extent that I can't download Chrome? No offense to Bing or anything, but Google will always win.
Finally, a proper web browser. As I was saying, I'll start posting more regularly come later tonight so do not despair. In the mean time, consdiering that I got a total of one hour of sleep on the plane, I shall leave you with this and hope it partially redeems my absence.
I figure since it was my birthday 2 days ago, I'd try and find something Whovian/birthday related...and here it is! I don't necessairly agree with the selections (msotly because I wish I fell under the "Tennantface" horoscope), but it's all I got in this borderline-delerious state of mind, so it's wot you're getting for now.
P.S. Siximpossiblethings, I shall respond to your comments as soon as I figure out how to unblock the damn comments section for myself! Technology tends to hate me.

Moves Like Jagger
I've been on a Maroon 5 binge recently. I mean, who can blame me right? But really, I love more than Adam Levine and his complete and utter dapperness (yes, that word was used). There's something about their songs, especially the ones on their first album, Songs About Jane, that are soothing and relate-able and catchy, and just perfect to karaoke to ("Sunday Morning" and "She Will Be Loved" being magnificent examples of the latter). Which, of course, means that I've been listening to the most recent single (featuring the ever brilliant Christina Aguilera) "Moves Like Jagger" on repeat all day, with a little bit of "Misery" and a throw back to "The Sun" mixed in. At first, I not only had no idea wot on earth he was attempting to say, because I have this horrible habit of actually listening to the lyrics, but after the second time through it I couldn't get it out of my head. Which means that I love it (naturally).
There's no video yet, but I'm sure they'll make one soon and I'm equally certain that Mr. Levine will show us his moves in said video.
P.S. I don't care wot they say the lyrics are, he's definitely saying "now I'm naked," and not "now I make it."
P.P.S. I think my yearly quota for quotations has just been fulfilled in this singular post.

Quoeth the Rowling, Pottermore
For those of you who are, as of yet unaware, J. K. Rowling is going to release a website that basically recreates the Harry Potter experience for fans, but with extra goodies and much more interaction. It's not quite the prequel detailing how the Marauders met/became friends that I had hoped for, but seeing as i consider Harry Potter to be the purest form of every drug known to man mixed into seven parts of the most addicting journey of love and magic and heartbreak so deep that I feel the pang when thinking of some characters, I'll take wot I can get and count myself among the lucky ones.
Et voila for the article detailing, much better than I could, the website itself. I have to thank my Viking for providing me with this link, without whom my morning would have been just a tad less exciting.

Things I would like for my birthday
1. To see Much Ado About Nothin with David Tennant and Catherine Tate (in London, of course)
2. To go to Six Flags
3. To see the last Harry Potter, on the night it premiers
4. Original Doctor Who, all of them, on DVD
5. A Sonic Screwdriver (or the Time Lord pocketwatch thing, that would be awesome too, I'd just never open it because I'd tell everyone my Time Lord memories would be in it, and if I release it they'd find me).
6. A functional typewriter I could use to...well, type

The Heart represents love
Whoever proposes to me better do it with either this ring or the One ring. Preferably in white gold for this one, and maybe an emerald as the heart or something...but nothing that looks tacky. I mean, I can buy a tacky one on my own (I just happen to have a regular, off-of-Saint Marks, one which I got many years ago, so none of that cheap run of the mill bullshit).
Anywho, I'm back home! Woot woot, right? Back to regular 'face of the day' posts that I'm sure all of you have been missing immensely.

[B]ooks aren't everything
Well, technically that's true, but things that are found outside of books don't always end up as interesting. No offense to the real world or anything but I'm 200 pages away from finishing Game of Thrones, and the real world ain't got shit on the hell the goes on in that book.

David Tennant's face of the day
So I'm currently not at home, and won't be till Tuesday, which means I have another excuse to be horribly neglectful of my blog. Though, naturally, I'll try my bestest to insure that I pop in at least once or twice in the interment period. I feel like I say that a lot, teehee.

How to make an Angel laugh
Source: adollarforsnape.tumblr.com |
So I just realized that, technically, it's past evening time. Damn you summer time with your mixed sunlight/actual time signals! I'm trying to think back on my day and figure out how is it that it got this late without me realizing, but after walking from Avenue C to Hudson St and then most of the way back (with a Sushi Lounge pit stop, of course) I feel like a lot was actually done today. Yay for me? It makes me feel a little better about the whole not posting regularly thing I've been up to. Somehow, the lack of things to do has made me more prone to doing nothing, as opposed to making me more diligent.
Yes, I thought you should all know that. Also, dying the tips of my hair bright pink, mostly because I'm bored. Doing a test strand made me realize how much the smell of bleach makes me want to die, so I'm also really looking forward to that feeling.

TARDIS converse
I wish I had these. I'd wear them all the time and everywhere.
Editors note: A lovely anonymous commentator pointed out that these can be found/ordered right here! Apparently Canvas Warriors make custom converse starting at $170 dollars and, from wot I've seen of the gallery, they're absolutely fantastic. All you nerds out there who love Star Wars and Doctor Who and Harry Potter and are lacking in awesome shoes, go get yourself a gift. You deserve it.

The Naked Man
chriskoala.tumblr.com |
If some guy tried to pull a Naked man on me, I honestly don't know wot I would do. I'd probably stand there at the door frame, mouth hanging open in surprise thinking 'wot? wot?' and trying to find ways to leave without being too hurtful. Or I might just laugh and tell him to put his clothes back on. Who knows, I'll tell you if it happens.
Super Wedding
Can we talk about how awesome this photo is? I want my wedding to be something along those lines, except my husband is going to be wearing the Batman shirt. Or ooh, X-Men theme and he can be Gambit? Would that be too much?
I found this picture on Taste of Awesome, but I just had to search the blog and find the original, and I'm glad I did because it looks better without that black border that made it small and not clear. Naturally, though, I ended up going through several of their posts because the photos are beautiful, to say the least. So if you guys like photography/have time/like looking at pretty things, you should definitely check out Hoffer photography (the blog, more specifically, though I haven't checked out the rest of it so I have no idea wot it's like...thought I don't doubt it's great).
David Tennant's face of the day
Literally the two emotions, more or less, I was experiencing last night while hanging out with a few high school friends I haven't seen in a while. Only the top one was sandwiched between two bottom ones. You know when the night is going well and then that one person that knows where it hurts just says something that makes you think "hey...that's not nice"? I had one of those moments with my former paramour (I just like that word) and an underhanded, basically stage whispered (come on now, he tried to whisper it to the whole damn table, I doubt subtly was key here) comment along the lines of "I've done worse."
Now, both the narcissistic person and the non-narcissistic person in me would like to think that maybe he meant someone else, for completely different reasons. But, honestly, it was more or less expected.
/rant
Someone needs to remind me that this blog is a happy, judgement free space filled with all things Who and Potter and other non dramatic random useless things and not a Xanga. I'll try to keep the out pour of frustration and emotions to a bare minimum.

Doctor Who: Journal of Impossible Things
Source: entertainmentearth.com |
Someone really needs to tell me that it would, for now, be an unnecessary usage of my money which I need to save up for rent/fun when my birthday comes along (i.e. in 19 days).
I will not buy this.
I will not buy this.
I will not buy this.
